In the early 1990s, TECS began its journey in Aberdeen, Scotland, as a Woodward-approved independent repair facility. Over the years, it has flourished to stand as one of the premier service providers for Woodward in the realm of turbine and engine controls across Europe. This growth is reinforced by the backing of the Turner Group, headquartered in Glasgow. Rooted in a rich legacy spanning over a century, this family-owned conglomerate has been a pillar of support.

From its initial focus on mechanical governor repair and distribution, TECS diversified its services to undertake projects, encompassing upgrades to both mechanical and electrical control systems for turbines, reciprocating engines, and associated equipment like generators, pumps, and compressors.

Today, with a commitment to providing local assistance, TECS proudly operates offices in locations such as Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and the UK.

A large proportion of TECS staff have joined us from Woodward. Therefore we are able to combine in-depth OEM product and application knowledge together with the responsiveness needed in a service industry required to provide the best service to our customers.
